Mack Announces 2007 Distributors of the Year
Mack Trucks, Inc. announced the recipients of its 2007 Distributor of the Year awards. Every year, Mack acknowledges the efforts and contributions of its dealer network by honoring high-performing distributors in its U.S., Canada and International business units.
Selection criteria include sales, facilities, personnel, leasing, service, parts, general management, customer satisfaction and community service. In addition, the U.S. Distributor of the Year is selected from a pool of regional honorees.
Ballard Mack Sales & Service, Inc., Worcester, MA is the U.S. Distributor of the Year for 2007. Ballard Mack has locations in Worcester, Massachusetts, where the dealer principal is John Picking, and Coventry, Rhode Island, where the dealer principal is Steven Grahn. Ballard Mack has operated the Worcester location for 20 years and the Coventry location for seven years. Ballard Mack employs approximately 60 persons.

Redhead Equipment, Ltd., Regina, Saskatchewan is the Canada Distributor of the Year for 2007. Gary Redhead is the dealer principal. Redhead Equipment has been a Mack dealer since Oct. 3, 1990. It now has five locations in Saskatchewan: Regina, Saskatoon, Swift Current, Lloydminster and Estevan. Redhead employs 360 people.
Salinas y Fabres S.A. (SALFA), Santiago, Chile was named Mack International Distributor of the Year for 2007. SALFA has been a Mack distributor since 1938. The company has 11 locations throughout Chile, with more than 800 employees. 2007 was the eighth time SALFA has been named Mack International Distributor of the Year. Roberto Salinas is chairman and CEO of SALFA.
Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc., Amarillo, Texas was named Mack Used Truck Dealer of the Year for 2007.
In addition, Mack Leasing System recognized its high-performing dealers. Truck Lease Chicago, LLC, Summit, IL was named Mack Leasing System National Dealer of the Year for 2007. It is a division of Chicago Mack Sales & Service, Inc. and Ken Yacobozzi is the dealer principal.
