Jon Landes Named Vice President of Marketing for Dresser Waukesha

Jonathan (Jon) Landes has been named vice president of marketing for Dresser Waukesha. Landes comes to Waukesha from GE Energy in Houston, where he was the business operations manager for GE’s new LMS100 product, an aeroderivative gas turbine, capable of producing in excess of 100MW.

Landes has spent his entire career in marketing and product management for leading manufacturers in the engine and power generation industries. He had been at GE Energy in a series of increasingly responsible positions since 2001. His assignments included leading an integration team for GE’s acquisition of Jenbacher, the Austrian manufacturer of gas engines. Previously, Landes spent nearly a decade at Caterpillar, Inc., where he focused on diesel and gas engines for compression and power generation applications.

“Jon’s experience in marketing and product management, and his breadth of engine expertise will be an invaluable resource,” said Barry Glickman, Dresser Waukesha president, in announcing Landes’ appointment. “I am delighted to have him at Waukesha.”

Landes holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agricultural engineering from Purdue University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
