Our Audience

Stormwater is the only professional trade journal exclusively for professionals working in stormwater management and surface water quality. Our readers are municipal stormwater managers, regulators, consultants, and others concerned with surface water quality.

What We're Looking For

We publish articles and case studies by stormwater management professionals, detailing the challenges and solutions in a particular watershed or municipality. We also publish broader articles dealing with topics common to stormwater managers around the country, such as funding issues, the effects of the NPDES Phase II regulations, or the effectiveness of certain types of best management practices. These wider-ranging articles should include examples from different parts of the country and contain interviews with stormwater managers, consulting engineers, or others as appropriate. Whenever possible, we use graphics (photos, charts, illustrations) to accompany the article.

If you'd like to submit an article for Stormwater, or if you'd like more information or a copy of our author's guidelines, please contact the editor at sweditor@forester.net.
