WEST CHESTER - CONTECH Construction Products Inc., one of the area’s largest private companies, has named Ron C. Keating as president and chief operating officer succeeding Godfrey Little, who was named to the new post of executive vice president focusing on new product development and revenue growth.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to focus our strategic capabilities at the most senior level,” said Patrick Harlow, CONTECH’s chairman and CEO. The company, acquired last year by the Apax Partners private equity fund, has projected more than doubling revenues of about $1 billion over the next few years through acquisitions and new products for the civil engineering market.

Keating, who will oversee day-to-day operations, previously was president of Kennametal Inc.’s $1.7 billion metalworking solutions and service group. Little, who joined CONTECH in 2004, formerly was vice president of Ingersoll-Rand’s road development division.
